We want you to have the right material. If something is not right, here is how we put it straight.
The short version
Unused, resaleable stock items can be returned within 30 days with proof of purchase. Anything we got wrong, we fix at our cost.
What we accept
- Stocked items in original, unopened, resaleable condition, returned within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Proof of purchase — an invoice, delivery note or account reference.
- Items that are faulty, damaged in transit or supplied in error. These are collected, replaced or credited in full at our cost, with no restocking fee.
What we cannot accept
- Special-order and non-stocked items brought in specifically for you.
- Cut-to-length material — lumber, rebar, wire, pipe and trim cut to your dimensions.
- Mixed, tinted or custom-batched products.
- Items that have been installed, modified, weathered or stored on site in a way that has made them unsaleable.
- Opened bags of cement, compound, adhesive or sealant, and any product past its shelf life.
Restocking fee
Accepted returns of correctly supplied stock items are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which covers handling and putting the material back into stock. We waive it on anything we got wrong.
Exchanges
Exchanges follow the same rules as returns. Where the exchanged item costs more, the difference is invoiced; where it costs less, the difference is credited.
How to start a return
- Call +1 (345) 927-1191 or +1 (345) 926-6326 or email neeta@caymanbuildingsupplies.com with your invoice number and what you would like to return.
- We will confirm whether the item is returnable and issue a return reference.
- Bring the material to the yard, or ask us to collect it. Collection of a non-faulty return is charged at the standard delivery rate.
- Credits are issued to your account, or refunded by the original payment method, within 10 working days of the material being received and checked.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights in respect of goods that are faulty or not as described.
